02 Mar This Morehouse Professor Helped His Student With His Baby During Class So The Student Could Focus On Taking Good Notes
There are moments when things happen to redefine our experiences as individuals, students, and leaders. One of such moments was an experience a class had in a Morehouse College class when a professor took a student’s baby (he unfortunately couldn’t find a babysitter for the baby before class), from him so that they student could focus on taking notes.
According to the Insitutue for of Women’s Policy Reasearch
“Over a quarter (26 percent) of all undergraduate students, or 4.8 million students, are raising dependent children. Women are disproportionately likely to be balancing college and parenthood, many without the support of a spouse or partner. Women make up 71 percent of all student parents, and roughly 2 million students, or 43 percent of the total student parent population, are single mothers. Single student fathers make up 11 percent of the student parent population.”
Students have been full of praise for his professor, and that praise has gone viral, with others chimming in and praising the wonderful professor for his kind gesture in ensuring his student’s ability to focus.
